Why we're building WinkShare

As our lives have moved online, so have our relationships. In what our team calls, “the modern relationship”, we are building our romantic connections digitally, while sharing our most intimate selves through our phones. WinkShare was created to help build and foster healthy relationships without fear of prying eyes. We are creating a romantic space for couples to be their true selves, securely and safely.  

Our Mission

At any stage in a couple’s relationship, WinkShare aims to provide engaging and empowering content to build deeper, healthier and long lasting relationships.

We believe that, to explore and share your most authentic self, individuals require a truly private space, without fear of judgment or surveillance. WinkShare’s mission is to provide the most secure platform, so what you share will never be surrendered to advertisers, intruders, or our corporate overlords. 

The rise of the modern relationship has led to the emergence of novel social issues. WinkShare is dedicated to ensuring that what is shared while in a relationship, remains yours even after that relationship ends.

Digital social issues disproportionately affect women and minorities. Our mission is to maintain a diverse team and to be purposeful in how we build an application for these groups.

Our Team

WinkShare was founded by a group of three friends who met at Brown University. Our full time team has since grown to include five Brown Alumni with experience at Facebook, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Bain, EY-Parthenon, Sharp, The New Yorker, Gucci and more.

WinkShare is currently participating in the Envision Accelerator. WinkShare also has been supported by Dr. Deborah Hurley, Brown Professor, Harvard Researcher and founder of Hurley.
